Amy

A source of inspiration for me comes from legendary music icons – pioneering artists who influenced entire generations. In my series of ‘Icons’ portraits I wanted to include Amy Winehouse, a very talented but troubled musician; unfortunately in the last few years of her life she was more famous for her erratic behaviour than for her music. In this portrait I wanted to immortalise her real inner beauty and talent for witch she was once known.
